Alex Gerbaulet<\/strong> (Filmmaker, Producer, DE)
\nAlex Gerbaulet is a Berlin-based filmmaker, producer and film educator. She has been part of the production platform pong film in Berlin since 2014. Her films which have won several awards, include SHIFT (2015), THE SLEEPER (2018), DEPTH OF FIELD (2017) and SUN UNDER GROUND (2022), both of which she made together with Mareike Bernien. Alex is a regular curator and jury member at film festivals such as the DOKfest Kassel, the European Media Art Festival Osnabr\u00fcck and the Duisburger Filmwoche. This year she is co-director of the masterclass for professional media at the Werkleitz Gesellschaft in Halle, Germany.<\/p>\n

Djamila Grandits<\/strong> (Curator, AT)
\nDjamila Grandits is a curator based in Vienna. As part of CineCollective, she is jointly responsible for the artistic direction and management of Kaleidoskop Film and Freiluft am Karlsplatz. She is part of the pre-selection for the Berlinale Panorama and a member of the non-fiction commission of the Zurich Film Foundation. Most recently she was involved in the programming of DOK Leipzig, tricky women – tricky realities and frameout Open Air.<\/p>\n

Matthias Lerf \u00a9 private<\/p><\/div>\n
Matthias Lerf <\/strong>(Film journalist, CH)
\nMatthias Lerf was film journalist of the Swiss SonntagsZeitung and the Tages-Anzeiger in Zurich for 25 years. Before that, he studied ethnology and journalism in Bern and worked as a freelance film critic for various newspapers. Since February 2023, he has been working independently again as a writer and presenter of cinema events. He has an old love affair with Austria: in the 1980s, he was assistant director, assistant and actor in several short films by student Christof Schertenleib at the Vienna Film Academy.<\/p>\n
