Four clubs, four towns, and the routine of repetition. Miriam Bajtala observes the exercises of the fire department, a drama group, a gymnastics club, and a choir. The camera is visible for the protagonists and noticeably influences the procedures that are usually internalized. Practice turns into (self-)display – nervous, stealthy looks included. The film itself gradually turns into a hybrid form, seemingly documentary, but also staged.
