Mute, post-season hotel guests, a barren island’s jagged rock formations: visual explorations of inhospitable places, which through a lamenting organ composition and a narrative that revolves around a natural catastrophe and personal loss condense to the soulscape of an individual – to a cinematic devotional picture of the sorrowful mother.
