Moving along the edges of the visible, the frame falls on the derelict open-air cinema in the Slovakian National Gallery. We peer inside through a perforated wall, a kind of partition between the architecture of the 60s and the urban landscape. Only the light of the projector illuminates the hall and the screen; there is no film to be seen, no audience to speak of. Crickets chirp in the background: a token of another time, a different kind of modernity.
