The musician Anja Plaschg (Soap&Skin) shows Carmen Tartarotti’s Das Schreiben und das Schweigen and adds a poetic note to this year’s historical special. The essayistic documentary about the great Viennese author and poet Friedericke Mayröcker is one of the program’s treasures and questions the hastily formulated assumption that pamphlets, slogans, and political art are more appropriate for thinking about femininity(ies) than dreaming, poetry, and love.
