Found objects – detritus and organic flora and fauna – are revived by Nikki Schuster and placed in the context of the natural environment in Argentina. The mutant­fauna creeps and crawls and lures the spectator into its very own sub­cosmos, in which arcane transformations and shifts in form proliferate. Moments later, the watcher’s gaze comes tumbling back to reality; circulation begins afresh.
