A six-year-old boy lives in an old Tyrolean farmhouse with his grandfather. Every day he gets bread, cleans the stalls, feeds the cows and the newly born calf, and brings away the beer bottles from the day before. The little boy does a lot himself, or he helps as much as he can. Routine gives him security. But one day this security is suddenly tested. A film with hardly any words, very close to the child, to the calf, to life.
