Yellowed 16mm­film flickers as the piercing and confused voice of an elderly woman breaks in. The camera pans across anonymous, everyday settings until it stops at a hospital bed. The time: ostensibly in the here and now. The haggard gaze of a woman: fixed and immediate. The walls bear pictures of bygone days. Images and sound distill the experience of the ephemeral; intimate and highly personal.
