The Diagonale’20 was cancelled due to official measures to contain the spread of COVID-19.

He looks in with displeasure, the hamster: his head is tucked into his neck, face turned toward the sky, the corners of his mouth turned down. A woman reads him the alphabet in a demanding tone. No answer. Loss of language as a position of refusal? Language barrier? Trauma? Or is it the hole at the height of his larynx? Most likely, we’ll never know.
