A group of adults dressed in white-collar work attire carry out a series of games that we would generally ascribe to children: riddles and ball games, counting rhymes, and Chinese jump rope, in the midst of supercharged urban architecture. Since two things convene here—earnest busyness and merely simulating play—the meaning of the two shift in our awareness.
