Double Happiness is a cinematic journey to China. The film tells of the motivation for and background of a real-estate project in which a clone of the picturesque village of Hallstatt is realized in the midst of a region with a million-fold population. In Chinese, “Double Happiness” stands for marriage and the happiness for both sides associated with it.
