In Shimmer, Betty Blitz collages images that formulate the crystal clarity of a thought in an itemized succession and yet flowing thought movement. It is about practically nothing and for precisely that reason, the core: seeing, light, movement, material, and darkness. Added to that, a sound that sounds as though it, too, wants to be an image.
