It flickers, it huffs. There is an end to the illusion of the moving image with Martin Arnold. In a slow loop – a constant back and forth – the single frame comes back strong. We see Pluto and Mickey in an intimate embrace, chuckling, flirting. The eyes of both cheerful characters gradually develop a life of their own, as do those of the audience.
