The past, present, and a world of thought tortured by hallucinations and memories, draw a picture of a stranded individual: Ms. Blumenthal, wife and mother, has lost connection to the real world. Contact with the outside world becomes increasingly more difficult. She’s left with an escape route to a better place, a parallel reality that is shaped by her delusions and told in dream-like black and white shots and Super-8-images.
