Elfriede Jelinek was invited in 1976 to design a contribution on Ramsau am Dachstein in the framework of the ORF series „Vielgeliebtes Österreich.“ Piece by piece, the film deconstructed every myth of naturalness that shaped the base for the success of the tourism industry. Ramsau am Dachstein, a key work of Austrian film history, would be her last television work. „Kontakt“, a program by the youth editorial staff at ORF dedicated a portrait to Elfriede Jelinek in 1970.
