Since the invasion of Ukraine in 2022, life in Russia is no longer an option for Margarita, Yuri, and their friends. All have made their roundabout way to Paris, where the art- and fashion-savvy circle hold out between childish playfulness and existential melancholy. Patric Chiha stages a tender, fragile, stylized snapshot that explores love and friendship as a security net in a world that does not welcome everyone.
