Diagonale’s Visual Business Card by Miro Klasinc
Two distinctive chimes, a figure tumbling through the darkness of the movie theatre, the enticing dance of the rays of light. The new Diagonale – Festival of Austrian Film teaser—i.e. the short clip preceding every movie performance—is the attempt to visually survey the cinema hall and make it perceptible by the senses. The view from the audience towards the screen as vis-à-vis, as extension into yet another movie theatre. Motion pictures projected onto the screen, the screen reflects the light—the audience in between, tense, in anticipation of the impending cinematic experience.
